Who We Are - Made New

We are a church that longs to see our city filled with the glory of God using His rescued and redeemed people. As we live our everyday lives, we shine the light of Christ through the new identity He has given us.

Jesus commands us to make disciples everywhere we go, baptizing them into the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit and teaching them to obey everything the he has commanded (Matthew 28:18-20). Baptizing people into the name of Jesus is about establishing them into their new Trinitarian Identity as a disciple of Jesus.

This means:

  1. God is our Father, and we are His family.
  2. Jesus is our Lord, and we are His servants.
  3. The Holy Spirit is our Guide and Sender, and we are His witnesses.

A disciple of Jesus is one who worships Jesus (follows and submits to Him in all of life), is changed by Jesus (living out his or her new identity), obeys Jesus and leads others to do the same (makes disciples of Jesus).
