we’re all on a journey

Whether you’re skeptical of religion, have been hurt by the church, or are simply looking for a new community of faith to join, our hope is to provide a warm, safe space for everyone to discover and take their next step of faith. Join us for a Sunday gathering to come and see what we’re all about!

We have something for everyone here at Indian River Presbyterian Church (IRPC).

Our Sunday morning service kicks off at 10:00am each week. River Students and River Kids join us for the service, with the River Kids being dismissed to Kids Church midway through worship. If you’d like to register your child in advance, click below!

 FAQs

  • Ample parking is available off of Virginia Avenue and 25th Street. Handicap spaces are reserved near the main entrance.

  • The main entrance to our building faces 25th street. Look for the canopy with our logo on the front. Our greeting team will be prepared to welcome you with a smile!

  • Attenders will be guided through a worship experience that lasts for approximately 75 minutes and includes music, responsive reading, prayer, and a teaching based on a section of the Bible. The flow of the worship service guides us to recognize and celebrate God’s character, remember our ongoing need for forgiveness and the assurance we have in Jesus, receive a message from God through the Bible, and respond to God in faith.

  • Nope. We don’t have guests raise their hands or wear special name tags. You can even leave early if you want! But, we encourage you to stick around for a few minutes after the worship service to connect with some of your fellow attenders who will be eager to learn your name.

  • There is no typical dress code at IRPC. Some come in their “Sunday Best” with a shirt and tie. Some come in shorts, flip flops, and a T-Shirt. Most are somewhere in between. We invite you to wear whatever is comfortable!

  • It’s up to you! We have an amazing River Kids Program that we’d love for your children to participate in. Almost all elementary-aged children stay with their caregivers for the first few minutes of worship and transition to River Kids when it is announced during worship. Details on that program are under the ‘Get Connected’ tab. That said, your children are also welcome to stay for the entire worship service. You have been entrusted by God with the care of your children. We trust you to make whatever decision is best!
